Active Maths-Run Rabbit Run

Vicarage Park have bought into an Active Maths package called 'Maths of the Day'. Each class has a selection of resources linked to their maths curriculum which encourages them consolidating their maths knowledge and being active at the same time. Every class has experienced a couple of sessions already and the children really enjoy this different experience. 

Year 6 completed an activity in the school hall where they had to run to two hoops, solve a multiplication calculation involving decimals and then run back to their team. They were being physically active whilst learning/practicing calculations at the same time. A fun way to learn mathematical skills.
