Autumn Adventure more photos

On Tuesday Reception class and Nursery went on an autumn adventure around the school grounds! We found all sorts of interesting objects including conker shells, curly leaves and butterflies. We had a leaf checklist so that we could identify different types of trees and we looked carefully at the different stages of leaf decay. We used games from our story 'Wide Awake Hedgehog' to play catch the leaf and cloud shapes. We also couldn't resist lying down and making leaf angels! We used our senses to listen and touch carefully. The adults observed the children doing lots of fabulous learning, talking and awe and wonder at our natural environment. What a super morning!
