Girls Football matches at Ghyllside

On Wednesday 2nd May, 21 girls from KS2 went to Ghyllside Primary to take part in a mini Football Festival. There was a year 3/4 team and a 5/6 team. The 3/4 team played first, initially it was evenly matched with both sides playing really well. Vicarage Park managed to score 2 goals in the second half, one by Isabella and the second by Tilly-both in year 4. 

The second match of year 5/6 was a very intense one. Erin saved many attempts from the Ghyllside team and during the sencond half Nicole (year 6) managed an amazing goal to see Vicarage Park win 1-0.

Well done to all the girls who took part-it was a great afternoon.
