Mixed Kwik Cricket Festival 2018

On Tuesday 5th June 20 Year 6 children went to Netherfield Cricket Club for a Kwik Cricket event. They were in two mixed teams and different groups. Team 2 came third in their group matches and so played friendly games during the afternoon. Team 1 won their group matches and so went onto the finals. They played St Marys of Kirkby Lonsdale in the semi finals and unfortunately lost that game. They then played St Oswalds, Burneside and won that match resulting in them finishing 3rd out of 12 teams.

Thank you to Mrs Bird and Mrs Brennand who helped umpire the matches.

It was a fantastic day with some great cricket played, well done to all that took part. The girls have their own festival coming up later in June.
