Prayer Workshop

NISCU came to school to help us to explore our Year 4 topic of Prayer. We had a fantastic, reflective workshop where we thought about what prayer means; what it might mean for us, and what it might mean for others. We then created prayers for ourselves and prayers for others. We thought carefully about what makes us special and unique and discussed how prayer can be used. Many of us prayed for children in different countries who may not have enough food, water or an education. Some of us prayed for our neighbours or our friends. Our Year 4 children truly showed our school values today, particularly compassion.
