Primary District Cross Country Competition 2018

On Wednesday 10th January, KS2 Running Club children entered the Primary District Cross Country Competition at Casteron. When I aksed them how they found the experience the overarching comment was 'Fun but very, very muddy!' 

There were 6 races:- Year 3/4 boys and then girls, Year 5 boys and then girls and Year 6 boys and then girls. 

The top 20 from each race have qualified to the next round at Casterton on February 8th. 

Darcey Beecham, Jack Hewitson, Emma Pollard, Lucy Murphy and Harry Nicholson all qualified- an amazing achievement. 

Well done to all the runners-a fantastic afternoon. Mrs Green and Mrs Wallace are very proud of you all.
