Year 4 Quicksticks Hockey finals

Last Thursday 2nd May our year 4 Quicksticks hockey team represented Vicarage Park school in the South Lakes finals. It was a new format of play with only 4 on the pitch and 2 umpires. Our team had never played like this before. They were really observant with wrong tackles, watching for when the ball went out of play and any goal scoring.

They managed to win 3 games, drew 1 and lose 1 which resulted in the team playing for 3rd/4th position. The match was against Heron Hill and it ended up a draw 2-2. What a great end to the competition.

We finished 3rd overall! A fantastic result.
