Islamic art at QKS

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Year 5 Year: 2016 - 17

On Tuesday 6th June, Year 5 were invited to QKS to meet a visiting artist and Islamic RE practitioner Raz. He was visiting QKS for the day and wanted to do some Islamic art activities with a local primary school. The children were able to share their work done in class on the religious beliefs of Muslims as well as learn a new art skill of acrylic canvas painting. We will complete the work back in class and put it on display to share with the rest of the school and parents.
