Year 3 Investgation

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

Year 3 had a busy afternoon investigating rocks and working scientifically.

They identified their chosen rock type then tested its level of hardness. The afternoon was filled with science skills; making predictions, planning the investigation, discussing various theories, rock identification, microscope observations, practical tests to create samples to examine, anaylsing their results and making a presentation of findings.

Overall a fantastic science afternoon.
