Waves and Wheels

We have had a fantastic start to our 'Waves and Wheels' topic this term. We have explored what Karl Benz was famous for and how he didn't put an actual brake on his first car! We also visited  windermere jetty museum to try out some time travel techniques to go back and see some steam engines and early engines that were used in boats from over a hundred years ago. We built our own wind powered vessels and were also lucky enough to get a trip out on Penelope II, a beautifully restored boat originally built in 1930 in Windermere.
